1CupCold whipping cream(Liquid - at least 35% fat)
OreosAs needed
LadyfingersAs needed
1Cupcold milk
For the Ganache
75gramsChocolate(Milk, dark, or a mix of both)
75gramsWhipping cream(Liquid - at least 35% fat)
Instructions
Add mascarpone, sugar, and vanilla to a bowl. Mix with a spatula until smooth.
Pour in cold cream and stir to combine. Whip 10 seconds on low, then 50 seconds on medium-high (about 1 minute total). Do not overwhip or it will curdle. If it curdles, add a splash of cold cream and whip gently to fix it.
Quick dip ladyfingers in cold milk so they soften without turning soggy and add them to your dish. Divide cream into 4 parts. Layer in order: ladyfingers, cream, Oreos, cream, ladyfingers, cream, Oreos, cream. (I split my Oreos in half so they soak up the moisture of the Tiramisu quicker, you can keep them whole if you prefer). Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour. Chilling 4 hours+ or overnight gives the best flavor.
When your Tiramisu is done chilling, prepare your ganache. Put chocolate and cream in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave 30 seconds, stir, then 20 seconds, and stir until glossy. Use short bursts so it does not split. Let cool slightly.Pour room-temperature ganache over the chilled tiramisu, spread, decorate, and serve.
