Ingredients
  

  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Medium Onion (Yellow, brown, white, or even red)
  • 2 Garlic Cloves (Grated)
  • 500 g Ground Beef
  • 450 g Tomato Sauce
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper
  • tsp Soy Sauce (Optional)

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook for about 2 minutes until soft. Add the grated garlic and sauté for another minute, making sure it does not burn.

  • Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart until browned. Stir in the tomato sauce, salt, black pepper, oregano, and soy sauce if using. Mix well.

  • Cover the pan and let the sauce simmer for 5 minutes so the flavors come together. If you like a looser sauce, add ¼ cup of beef broth or water and let it simmer for a few minutes. Taste, adjust the seasoning, and serve with pasta.
